For 2007, the Tour commenced at 9am on Saturday the 26th of May with the Steels Creek Rd individual time trial, then at 2pm the Yarra Glen/Death Valley road stage started. On Sunday, at 9am, the queen stage, Stage 3 started at the De Bortoli winery, ran down into Yarra Glen, up to Toolangi along Chum Creek Rd, over to Kinglake and down through St Andrews before returning to De Bortoli via Steeks creek road. A challenging and very rewarding course.
The tour dinner featured Phil Anderson, Australian cycling legend, as a guest speaker.
New to 2007, the De Bortoli Tour included a teams race, masters, C grade and women’s grades.

Provisional results from stage 1 (ITT). The time trial times were out by 1 minute which we believe was caused by the time not being synchronised between the start line and finish line correctly. The relative time between riders is correct.
